You don’t need a diagnosis.
You don’t need to know exactly what support you need before contacting us. A task that feels difficult is enough of a starting point.
No boxes to tick
Free mentoring for digital inclusion. You do not need to be “bad with technology” to ask for help.

You don’t need to know exactly what support you need before contacting us. A task that feels difficult is enough of a starting point.
Happyish supports people facing digital barriers, including disabled people, neurodivergent people and people with long-term health conditions. That might mean low digital confidence, inaccessible services, sensory overload or difficulty planning, processing and organising a task.
You might be moving towards work, returning after illness or time away, or needing support with technology to stay or progress in work. Mental health challenges, isolation and a loss of confidence can also make digital tasks or a return to work harder. Mentoring is practical support with technology and goals you choose; it is not therapy or crisis care. Recovery and rebuilding matter too: regaining structure, confidence and independence after difficult periods. Employment is not a requirement for getting help.
Tell us what makes things easier: shorter steps, repetition, breaks, a reminder in a useful format or a quieter way to communicate. Support can be by telephone, Zoom with your camera on or off, or an agreed local meeting. We discuss accessibility and reasonable adjustments with you, without assuming what you need.
Happyish supports people across Dorset by Zoom, telephone and visits by arrangement. Our Poole office at Waste Not Want Not Poole is coming soon. We welcome conversations with other charities, food banks and community organisations about bringing one-to-one mentoring to the people they support.
You do not have to share your recovery story or health history to explain a digital task. We agree the goal with you.
